Loleta sits in the Eel River Delta, about 35 minutes south of Arcata. The community is small and the housing is largely rural, older homes on agricultural land, ranch buildings, and a few newer residential builds. The drive is straightforward via 101.
Many of the homes we work on in Loleta are older agricultural-area properties where the original siding has reached the end of its service life. These projects often involve more substantial substructure work than on a typical urban home, addressing decades of weather exposure, integrating new flashing into older framing, and selecting materials that handle the delta's specific moisture profile.
